Yet Another Coupon Site!

A few days ago, I wrote about a coupon site that attracted me. Well, someone wrote me to share his and I thought of sharing in return. I promise you I won’t write about coupon sites on a regular basis! πŸ˜‰ But it is something rather new for me and I’m learning. I’m not a coupon addict and have no intention to become one. I do have a couple sites that I keep in list and check upon when I have to go at groceries or for special shopping to do. So anyways, let’s have a look!

frugaa

The site http://www.frugaa.com/ seems to be largely known across US, Canada and many other countries. As some of you might remember, I live in Quebec. So I unfortunately didn’t see that many stores available here compared to the over 40k coupons available. However, it’s the beauty of online shopping, many ship to my place as well and there are many free shipping coupons.

What You Get!

Offers vary a lot. It goes from 10% to 75% savings and you sometimes have a minimal amount of order to enjoy the rebate. You can browse by category or name, from flowers to webhosting, clothing and food. Among popular names for me: Costco, Children Place, Old Navy, Shutterfly, Starbucks and many more.

If you read my other post, you know I like cash back. Frugaa doesn’t offer such reward. However, the site does have a new reward program for the members socially sharing! This is a brilliant marketing plan for them of course, but I still find it interesting to create some type of community around your favorite coupon site. There are challenges member can try and rewards in gift cards to be won. Funny πŸ™‚

Why Using Coupons

If you follow this blog for a long time, you might be surprised to read about coupons lately. You know I’ve always put quality over quantity. You also know I’m a minimalist. But I’m also an ancient shopaholic. And I still enjoy shopping very much. Truth is, I don’t often pay the full price for something. I carefully choose what I buy, but I wait for a discount… almost always. And since I’ve been closely watching our couple budget and groceries shopping, I saved us around $40-50 a week! That is more than $2,000 a year. I’ll take it, thank you! πŸ˜‰

I’m not sure which site I prefer as of today. I have to admit I didn’t start real shopping on any yet. Maybe a try will convince me about Frugaa.

What about you? Any favorite coupons site to share?
