Coupon Cactus: My Place for Cash back and Coupons!

It has been a while that I started shopping online. I have to admit I’ve been doing so even more since I have the kids. It might be because I have less time to actually go shopping, but I also soon discovered things tend to be cheaper online.

Of course, there’s no sense in spending more than you have to, even online. It always feels good thought to take advantage of a discount. Lately, I found a new way of doing so: Coupon Cactus.

Not only is it open to Canadians, but it works a lot like Retailmenot whereby it has coupons and codes for thousands of stores, and you can even get cash back for almost all of them. I’d much prefer cash in my pocket over any other kind of points or discount program ;)

You can find your favorite stores by name or categories and you can even have a look before registering. That way, you know what you’re getting!

You just have to sign up for Coupon Cactus (free and easy), and you can earn extra cash if your friends refer to — up to 10% of the cash back that they earn, and it’s at no cost to them!

So if your friend bought something for $100, and they received a cash back of $3 (3% cash back), then you’d earn $0.30 on that. It may not seem like a lot of money, but it adds up without you having to do any of the work.

What I’m Looking At

As it’s rather new for me, I will have to go back to the list to see what’s truly interesting for me, but I saw a lot of shoes and sports related stores that I’m interested in: Naturalizer, Globo, Toms, Adidas, Crocs and Puma. I like sports clothing and I will have to buy new running shoes soon. The 6% cash back at Columbia also calls me!

I also saw a 2% cash back at The Home Depot that seems interesting for the summer.

I unfortunately didn’t see any offer for groceries, the place where I currently use coupons the most. Surely, Coupon Cactus can complete what I already use for different categories.
