My Life As I Know It

So what’s been going on lately? I feel like I haven’t updated everyone on what’s been happening. I miss writing my random life posts.

(ME + BF)

BAD BACK & DIZZINESS. GREAT.

So.. I basically have been bedridden for two weeks. Why? Because I pinched a nerve in my back and couldn’t move.

No walking, no standing.. the works.

To top it off, I get vertigo.

If you don’t know what that is, it is like having motion sickness ON CRACK. It’s making me dizzy just talking about it.

I woke up in the middle of the night, SUPER dizzy, lying still on my back and I had to get up and stumble towards a bathroom for some dry heaving.

Fun.

I’m better now, but those 2 weeks have been hell.

I also did some yoga to get heal my pinched nerve in my back and it has healed beautifully. YAY!

I am still a bit dizzy however. I’m walking slow and eating lightly,

WORK IS GOING GREAT SO FAR

Pressure is heating up but I am not worried. I have deadlines, a schedule and overtime to get it all done.

I’m feeling restless however, like waiting for the other shoe to drop which is strange as this is THE BEST project I have ever been on.

BF & I ARE BORED

It has finally happened. We are bored in a city.

There is nothing fun to do here and even if we could pay, there is nothing fun to do.

Even walking downtown and being among people is boring in this city.

Yawn.

To drum up some semblance of fun, BF has taken to making me gourmet lunches and meals, so I’m a happy camper.

I’ve thrown myself into blogging instead.

Free + Fun. Win win.

…BUT I AM STILL SUPER HAPPY AND CONTENT

Happy as a clam.

So what if I hurt my back (I will be so careful from now on), got vertigo and am BORED in a city?

Pish posh. Boring, bourgeois whining, really. (“Bla bla bla BLA STFU FB!”)

I have so much more to be thankful for:

  • I have my overall health and use of all my limbs (*heart*)
  • BF is here with me and toughing out the boredom x 1 billion
  • I have a great Asia Trip to look forward to in 2011
  • Am eating great homemade food cooked with love
  • I don’t need to trek down to the basement to do laundry (ensuite!)
  • No need to do dishes either (ensuite dishwasher!)
  • Am on a solid contract with a great team & good money

Best of all?

I don’t have a need or want for anything I cannot obtain.

And that is the best thing to be most thankful for.

ME + BF

I am definitely the fatter one on the left from all the great food lately.

WHAT ARE YOU HAPPY & THANKFUL FOR THIS WEEK?
