I’m SURPRISED TV Series “FRIENDS” is not on your list.
Oooh I'm so bookmarking this! 😛
Of course, because I'm me (girly girl), I'm most interested in "Enchantment" and "Survival of the Prettiest."
You will love both books. Trust me! I was skeptical at first, but if you like fantasy but not necessarily sci-fi with robots and aliens, “Enchantment” will be right up your alley. It’s so.. sweet!
Great list : ) just finished The Picture of Dorian Gray – I loved it so much! and I'm glad you include someone like Sophie Kinsella on your list (her books are so addictive! and they honestly put me off shopping/spending money in general, so also very good for my bank account) – sometimes people only include the pretentious/intelligent/literary stuff on their book/film/etc. lists…
My favourite tv show at the moment is Ghost Whisperer. I've always had a soft spot for these kinds of series – watch a lot of Charmed, Buffy, or Angel episodes.
I am definitely someone who likes her classic literature and really good chick lit. I may not be seen as being very intelligent or well-read as a result, but I like what I like.
I have NO SHAME in admitting I liked Twilight (although I wouldn’t re-read them again), along with Jane Austen’s works as well.
I do find a lot of chick out there very.. fluffy and without solid character development — something I have not seen in Kinsella’s works.
I could never get into Charmed, Buffy, Angel or Ghost Whisperer. I think the supernatural scares me. Even True Blood or Twilight was a big stretch for me.. I am more into the detective/crime/thriller genre.
Great lists! The Alchemist and Outliers are also two of my favorites. I like the book version of Le Divorce better than the film.
Atlas Shrugged and The Millionaire Nextdoor are two books I plan to read this summer.
The mini-series version of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth is my favorite version. I'd also suggest any film with the French actor Romain Duris.
That reminds me, I should get the book of Le Divorce to read as well 🙂 I just happened to watch the film first…
I will also look out for Romain!
