ROFL! It looks like one is marketted towards gamers and one towards hard drive users. People would probably assume one was tougher than the other! Although Nintendo DS cost more than the average external hd these days 😛
BF and I went back, and out of curiousity, we checked BOTH of them.
Exactly. The. Same. Product.
Just that one had different colours inside (Nintendo DS), and the other had different colours.
This reminded me of something someone told me recently: apparently one of the eye creams from the Biotherm men's line has exactly the same ingredients and ratios as the women's except the only difference is that the men's one is cheaper. They do it because they know the ladies will pay more.
Were they the same inside as well? E.g., different straps to hold things down or a molded foam interior?
Oh yes. Exactly the same. Same zip, same size.. everything. Just a different label!!!

Yes, I always check similar products–especially name brands against generics. We have always been taught that with the name brands we are only paying extra for the fancy packaging, but it really hits home when you read the ingredients list and they are EXACTLY the same.

I wonder how many people even realize that. Everyone is in such a rush these days…I'm sure that's what companies are hoping for…people too busy to notice and just grabbing what they want quickly w/barely a glance at the price or non-differences in products. Good catch!
huh. that's pretty funny. i wonder if anyone notices that they'd be exactly the same if they just took one and turned it 90 degrees clockwise.
