Finalement! (Finally)
I am ready to post about everything I’ve gotten from Etsy from about July 2009 to now.
That’s because I am.. I am finished shopping on Etsy. I have to purchase other things for the upcoming trip to Asia, and everything is all about priorities.
You know me.
Doing my part to stimulate the economy and support independent designers. 🙂
Two BlackRabbitNYC Faux Wrap Obi Dresses = $98/each
BlackRabbitNYC is this totally sweet, patient seller that put up with my shenanigans.
She custom made the dresses to fit me, and fit me they did! Like a dream. Such a score.
(BF even commented on them being adorable on me. This is a first. A man noticing a woman’s style.)

Such cute items! Especially the necklaces:) Oh etsy.com can be dangerous on the wallet but they have such cute items & I love the fact that they are independant designers on that site so I don’t feel guilty buying more stuff from “big” companies.

StudioRona also does bracelets, earrings and other things. Not just necklaces. I just happen to love them.
Mostly just measurements of my neck, bustline, etc.. But the dresses are forgiving, I should have ordered the bust in something a bit tighter because it feels a tad loose, but nothing a little stick tape can’t fix.
I am definitely cutting myself off Etsy now.
Ginger, yes she does do dresses for plus sizes. It’s all custom made.
I actually wear a lot of bright colours and prints, I just don’t show what I wear on the blog 🙂
And as for the info I had to give them, I just had to give measurements she asked for using a measuring tape. Was pretty simple!
I love wrap (or faux-wrap) dresses, they are so versatille! Lovely jewelry! I have purposely not been on Etsy in weeks because I know I’d be tempted to buy something : )
Wow beautiful finds! I love jewelry from Etsy, but I’ve always been iffy about ordering clothing due to fit and the hassle of possibly having to return. What info did you have to provide to have the dresses custom made?

I really loves the second StudioRoma necklace, it’s something I would wear all the time, even with my aversion(is this a word? It is in Spanish…) to necklaces.
